The health and safety of our customers is our primary concern, with this at the forefront of our minds we will still be trading as per usual. We have changed a few things during our courses to ensure recommended social distancing techniques during training. We also can confirm that none of our staff or their families have traveled from any at-risk countries in recent times.
What are we doing to protect our customers?
In light of recent events, we have taken precautions to ensure that all equipment being used by our divers is disinfected before use or before leaving our premises. These procedures will be in place indefinitely. Upon our investigations, we have found the easiest and safest way to disinfect our equipment is with a chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) bath. Followed by multiple washes in clean fresh water.
We have also taken the liberty of using this chlorhexidine gluconate for cleaning our display items in the shop, flat surfaces, door handles, EFTPOS machines and anything else that may come in contact by the general public and by our staff.
Is there going to be any change in the day to day operations?
Until the advice from our local, state or federal government changes, we will be operating as per normal. However, we will keep everyone updated on our movements as things progress.
We here at Perth Diving Academy Hillarys would like to thank everyone for their continued support and hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
