Refund Policy

Change of Mind

We do not provide refunds if you simply change your mind after purchasing any product or service, including but not limited to:

  • Course bookings

  • Dive charters or guided dives

  • Equipment hire

  • Merchandise

  • Gift vouchers

This means once the purchase is made and confirmed, it is final and non-refundable on the basis of personal choice, schedule change, or change of plans.

Instead, subject to availability and at our discretion, we may offer:

  • Store credit or booking credit for the value of the purchase, valid for future use with us; or

  • Rescheduling options, where possible, if requested within a specified timeframe prior to the booked activity.

Note: Credits, reschedules, or transfers are not guaranteed and will be provided only at our sole discretion and subject to availability.

Exceptions – Genuine Fault or Service Not Provided

Refunds may be issued in cases where:

  • A product is proven faulty and cannot reasonably be repaired or replaced; or

  • A service or booking is cancelled by us and cannot be rescheduled.

Any refund provided under these circumstances will comply with applicable consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellation by Us

If we cancel or cannot provide a service you have booked (e.g., dive trip due to weather/conditions or minimum numbers not met), you may choose either:

  • A full refund of your booking; or

  • A credit to use toward a future booking.

Equipment Hire and Merchandise

  • Merchandise or gear must be returned in an unused, resaleable condition (with tags and original packaging intact) to be eligible for any credit or exchange. PDA Hillarys

  • No refunds are given for unused hire equipment.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.

 

Requesting a Refund or Credit

All requests must be submitted in writing to hillarys@perthdiving.com.au with your:

  • Name

  • Booking/order number

  • Reason for request

Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

 

Return Shipping

​

We urge you to come to our storefront in Hillarys to return or exchange your item. However, if you can not do this, then you are responsible for the cost of your return shipping. Items must be received within 30 days of your original order date to be eligible

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Where the ACL applies, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair for major failures with goods or services.
